A Case of the Large Suprasellar Cysticercosis

Abstract

|
The large suprasellar cerebral cysticercosis is prersented. Twenty-two year old female patient was admitted to Chonbuk National University hospital because of headache and Lt. homonymous hemianopsia. The preoperative brain C-T ravealed that the single large low density was located in the suprasellar area but not enhanced. It was confused as the congenital arachnoid cyst in brain C-T, but cysticercosis was confirmed by operative and biopsy findings. The patitent discharged unevenfully without any neurological deficit.
